Supervised-use visual supports

Shine Without Limits cards are visual communication support items for supervised use. They are not toys, teethers, chew products or medical devices.

Not suitable for chewing or mouthing

Do not give the cards to children or users who may chew, bite, mouth or suck items. If a card is chewed, cracked, split or damaged, stop using it immediately.

Material

Cards are 3D printed from PLA+ filament and finished with rounded edges for a smoother feel. 3D printed items can have layer lines and small texture differences.

Checking for wear

Please check cards regularly for sharp edges, cracks, splits, loose parts, rough areas, deep bite marks or any signs of damage. Stop use if damage appears.

When to replace a card

Replace a card if it becomes cracked, split, badly bent, chewed, has sharp edges, or if the printed surface becomes difficult to read or clean.

Cleaning

Wipe gently with a damp cloth. Do not soak, boil, put in a dishwasher, use harsh chemicals, or leave in high heat such as direct sunlight in a car.

Small parts and choking risk

Some products or accessories may be small enough to present a choking risk. Use only with appropriate supervision and keep away from children who may mouth small items.

Professional support

Our cards can support everyday communication routines, but they do not replace advice from speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, SENCOs or other professionals.
